KATHMANDU, NEPAL– The Rashtriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) is set to hold a procession with the sound of conch shells today ahead of the centralized demonstration in Kathmandu.
According to RPP spokesperson Mohan Kumar Shrestha, today at one and a half past two in the afternoon, RPP will commence a procession with the sound of conch shells at Kathmandu’s Bhrikuti Mandap. Shrestha stated that RPP has initiated 108 conch shell processions against the current corrupt system, advocating for the restoration of the Hindu monarchy, the end of corruption and misrule, and addressing banking and financial issues, unemployment, and the plight of the marginalized.
RPP claims to mobilize 50,000 people in today’s demonstration in Kathmandu. Alongside today’s demonstration, RPP has also issued a warning of retaliation against any state-imposed hindrance, intending to defy all kinds of prohibitory orders.
