Resunga Airport will commence operating three weekly flights. Previously, Nepal Airlines had been offering flights twice a week, specifically on Wednesdays and Fridays. Suman Thapa, the Station Manager of Resunga Airport, mentioned that Nepal Airlines will now operate an additional flight on Mondays.
“The decision to add another flight comes in response to the increasing number of air passengers. We will work closely with Nepal Airlines to evaluate the demand for additional flights and coordinate accordingly,” stated Thapa.
Nepal Airlines currently operates an 18-seater plane on the Kathmandu-Resunga-Kathmandu route every Wednesday and Friday morning. The airfare for the Kathmandu-Resunga leg is priced at Rs 7,280, while it costs Rs 7,080 for the return journey from Resunga to Kathmandu.
Located just five kilometers from Tamghas, the headquarters of Gulmi district, Resunga Airport serves as a vital link for the region.
