Staff nurse of Nobel Medical College found murdered in Biratnagar

The lifeless body of Chandrika Kumari Das, a 23-year-old nurse working at Nobel Teaching Hospital, was uncovered within a residence in Biratnagar Metropolitan City-4. Confirming the heinous act, Police spokesperson DSP Ranjan Kumar Dahal disclosed the details of the homicide.

Originally hailing from Phulkahakatti in Siraha, Das had been a resident of the aforementioned house for a brief period of 3-4 months. Her remains were discovered this afternoon within the confines of her room’s attached toilet, exhibiting grievous injuries to her neck, face, and various other regions. The police suspect that she met her demise by the hands of a sharp-edged instrument.

DSP Dahal remarked, “The precise location of the homicide within the room remains ambiguous.”

An active investigation is currently in progress, with law enforcement sources pointing towards potential involvement of an intimate partner.
