Tanahu: In the Tanahu district, a tourist bus transporting 26 passengers overturned, causing injuries to six Chinese tourists. The bus, identified as Ba 1 Pa 1139, was en route from Pokhara to Kathmandu at the time of the incident.
District Deputy Superintendent of Police Mohan Bahadur Khan verified, “The bus veered off the road to the right side.” The injured tourists are receiving medical attention at the GP Koirala National Respiratory Treatment Center in Belchautara.
Law enforcement has apprehended the bus driver, and an inquiry into the accident’s cause is in progress.
