A seismic event occurred with its epicenter in Parche of Kaski district.
As reported by the National Earthquake Measurement Centre in Kathmandu, an earthquake measuring a magnitude of 4 was experienced in the district at 7:30 am this afternoon.
The extent of damage caused by the tremor is yet to be disclosed.
Nepal’s hilly and mountainous regions are recognized as susceptible zones for earthquakes.
