European Union ‘EU’ to help Nepal bring investment

Kathmandu, Nepal- The European Union (EU) has pledged assistance to Nepal in attracting investment.

Veronique Lorenzo, the EU Ambassador to Nepal, announced that the upcoming ‘EU-Nepal Trade Forum’ in Kathmandu aims to facilitate European investment in the country.

The forum’s second session is scheduled for May 15-16, focusing on addressing Nepal’s foreign investment shortfall. Ambassador Lorenzo emphasized the participation of EU companies in exploring investment opportunities in Nepal.

She underscored Nepal’s ambition to transition from the list of least developed countries by 2026, emphasizing the importance of fostering economic growth and employment prospects to achieve this goal.
