Kathmandu, Nepal– In the upcoming June, the Nepali cricket team’s jersey for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, to be held in the West Indies and America, has been unveiled to the public.
The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has officially released the jersey to be worn by the Nepali team today.
The jersey, a blend of blue and red, features Nepal’s flag on both shoulders. Similarly, Mount Everest is depicted at the bottom of the jersey. The sponsor’s logo is on one side of the chest, while the CAN logo is on the other.
Nepal is in Group D of the T20 World Cup. In this group, Nepal will compete against South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and the Netherlands.
Nepal will play its first match against the Netherlands on June 4 in Dallas, America, and against Sri Lanka on June 11 in Florida, America. The remaining matches will be played by Nepal in the West Indies. Nepal will play against South Africa on June 14 and against Bangladesh on June 16 in Saint Vincent.
The group stage matches of the World Cup will take place from June 1 to June 18. After that, from June 19 to June 24, there will be the Super 8 stage. The semifinals will be held on June 26 and 27, while the final will take place on June 29.
