Kathmandu, Nepal– Nepal has announced its 14-member squad for the ACC Premier Cup to be held in Oman. The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has made public the final 14-member squad.
Akash Chand, who showed remarkable pace during the tour of India, could not make it to the final 14. There have been no changes to the other squads. The Premier Cup will take place in Oman from April 12 to April 21. Nepal, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar are in Group A of the Premier Cup. Group B consists of UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, and Cambodia.
The top two teams from each group will reach the semi-finals. The winning team in the final will earn the opportunity to play in the Asia Cup. Nepal, UAE, and Oman are the main contenders for the title.
