In Kathmandu’s Chauni, Dr. Pratibha Dhaubhadel has been found dead. According to SP Nawaraj Adhikari of Kathmandu’s district police office, Dhaubhadel was found dead around 9 a.m. on Wednesday in the toilet of the house in Chauni.
According to him, Dhaubhadel had come to that house with her husband, Kaviraj Bhandari. Upon discovering her condition, Mr. Bhandari rushed her to Chauni Hospital. The hospital had declared her dead. Bhandari is also a doctor.
SP Adhikari mentioned that Dhaubhadel had been taking medication for depression for a long time.
The body has been kept at the Teaching Hospital for postmortem. The police are conducting further investigation into the incident.
