Dolpa fire Update 2 injured Army Soldiers died

Dolpa– 2 more Nepalese soldiers from Devidatta Gulm who were injured in the fire in Dolpa have died. DSP Harikrishna KC, Chief of District Police Office Dolpa, said that they died at the Burn Hospital in Kirtipur, Kathmandu on Tuesday afternoon. 

He said that among the deceased are 38-year-old Army Jamdar Keshav Bahadur Jarga Magar of Kabhre and 23-year-old soldier Ashish Budha of Humla. With this, the number of deaths has reached 3.

Hemant Rawat, a 24-year-old army soldier from Tatopani Rural Municipality-4 in Jumla, died on Monday.

On Monday afternoon, 4 soldiers of Devidatta Gulm were injured while controlling the fire in the Mastabhavani community forest in Thuliberi municipality-3 of the district.

1 injured soldier is being treated.

The fire in the forest since Sunday afternoon went out of control due to high winds.

Due to the storm, the fire started again on Monday afternoon.
