Dolpa, Nepal– One of the three children wounded in a forest blaze at Tripurasundari municipality-4 in Dolpa has passed away.
Tulasi Prasad Dahal, the Chief District Officer, relayed that Sulas Budha, aged 10, succumbed during treatment at Dolpa’s district hospital. The other two are slated for transfer to Kathmandu for further medical care.
The youngsters sustained critical injuries while foraging for mushrooms in the nearby communal woods on Thursday morning, necessitating rescue and evening hospitalization. Despite exhaustive efforts by Dr.
Akhanda Upadhyay, their injuries proved fatal. To facilitate their treatment, Tripurasundari municipality has arranged a helicopter to transport them to Kathmandu, as informed by chief administrative officer Jagdish Chandra Nepali.
Additionally, it’s worth noting that among the four Nepal Army personnel injured while combating a blaze at Masta community forest in Thulibheri municipality-4, Dolpa district, three also tragically lost their lives on Tuesday.
