KANCHANPUR, NEPAL-Two Indian nationals were apprehended in Kanchanpur in possession of heroin.
On Wednesday morning, police detained 19-year-old Sanjay Balmik from Bahraich Nanpara, Uttar Pradesh, and 19-year-old Arjun Balmik from Shahajpur district, Uttar Pradesh, in Punarbas Municipality-11, Doke Bazar.
The apprehension followed suspicion raised by both individuals, prompting an investigation by the Provincial Investigation Team (PIT) of Sudurpaschim Province Police Office, Dhangadhi, along with a joint effort from the Parasan Police Station.
The Kanchanpur District Police Office reported the recovery of 1.710 grams of brown heroin from the suspects. Police stated that further investigation is ongoing with both individuals under custody.
