Seven provincial and three regional teams will participate in the proposed Girija Prasad Koirala International Cricket Ground.

The participating teams are divided into two groups. Group A comprises APF Tribhuvan Army Club, Koshi Pradesh, Madhesh Pradesh, and Karnali Pradesh. Group B includes the Nepal Police Club, Bagmati Pradesh, Gandaki Pradesh, Lumbini Pradesh, and Sudurpashchim Pradesh. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals.
The opening match of the competition today will feature the home team from Group A, Koshi Pradesh, against Karnali Pradesh. Similarly, a match between Gandaki Pradesh and Sudurpashchim Pradesh is also scheduled for today. The first game begins at 10 AM, and the second at 2 PM.
The competition will consist of 20 group-stage matches, two semifinals, and one final, totaling 23 games. The winner of the tournament will receive a prize of 500,000 Nepalese Rupees, while the runner-up will be awarded 300,000 Nepalese Rupees.
