A tragic lightning bolt struck the Bajhang district, resulting in the loss of one life and injuring seven others. The deceased, identified as 52-year-old Gajendra Bahadur Singh from Jayaprithvi Municipality, fell victim to the incident which occurred around 9 pm on Friday.
Among those injured were members of Mr. Singh’s family. Presently receiving medical care at the district hospital are his daughter Shanti Singh, son Dhirendra Bahadur Singh, wife Nisha Singh, daughter Kritika Singh, Panchadevi Singh, son Nitesh Singh, and daughter Lakshmi Singh.
Local authorities have conducted an investigation and assured the safety of the area. The deceased’s body has been transferred to the district hospital’s mortuary for a post-mortem examination.
