Itahari– A Man died after being hit by a car late at night In the Halgada Chowk of Sunsari’s Itahari Sub-Metropolitan-2.
The deceased, 52-year-old Jay Bahadur Rai from Bhojpur, who had come from Bhojpur to Itahari, was hit by a car while walking from the car collision. Subhash Keshi, Chief Inspector of Police of Sunsari District Traffic Police Office, provided the information.
The car, with registration number Pradesh 1-029 च 9459, coming from Dharan towards Itahari, hit Rai, who was walking on the road, causing serious injuries.
Rai, who had come from Hatuwagadhi Rural Municipality-6 in Bhojpur and was residing in Itahari-2 Halgada, was undergoing treatment, but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries at B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan, informed Inspector Keshi.
The Itahari Police have taken control of the driver and the car responsible for the collision.
