Microbus Accident on Bharatpur Road injured 8 people

BHARATPUR-In the recent incident on the Narayangadh-Muglin road, eight passengers sustained injuries following a collision between a microbus and a passenger bus. The accident, which occurred during a security check near the Nepal Police Highway Safety and Traffic Management Office, has left four individuals in serious condition.

At around 5:00 a.m. on Thursday, a microbus bearing license plate number Ga 2 Kha 225 collided with a stationary passenger bus (No. 01-006 Kha 4888) traveling from Jhapa to Kathmandu. Subsequently, the microbus veered off the road and crashed into a garage adjacent to Kamala Neupane’s residence.

All the injured parties were passengers aboard the microbus at the time of the accident. They have been promptly admitted to Chitwan Medical College’s teaching hospital for medical attention. Meanwhile, authorities have detained the microbus driver for further investigation.

This unfortunate incident underscores the importance of road safety measures and highlights the need for heightened vigilance among drivers and commuters alike.
