Pokhara, Nepal– CIAA arrests civil engineer Usha Kiran and Suraj kuwar of Godar Engineering Consultancy Service in Pokhara for accepting a bribe of 1.5 lakh rupees.
The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has arrested civil engineer Usha Kiran from Pokhara Metropolitan City and Suraj kuwar, an engineer of Godar Engineering Consultancy Service, with a bribe of one and a half lakh rupees.
Spokesperson for the CIAA Narahari Ghimire informed that Sub-Engineer Rokaya was arrested from Pokhara Metropolitan City Ward No. 5 and Kunwar from Pokhara Metropolitan City Ward No. 8.
The authority had received information about the arrest of Rokaya and Kunwar for taking a bribe to issue a completion certificate for house construction. They were apprehended from Pokhara-5 on Wednesday night with a bribe of one and a half lakh rupees.
Both Rokaya and Kunwar are currently under control, as informed by the authority, and further investigation is underway.
