KATHMANDU, NEPAL- The National Sports Council has invited tenders for the construction of floodlights and a scoreboard at the Tribhuvan Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.
Previously, on 17th Shrawan 2080 BS, the National Sports Council had invited tenders for the construction of floodlights and a scoreboard. However, there was a case filed against the tender in the Patan High Court, and the court had ordered to annul it.
Subsequently, the National Sports Council has invited tenders again on 9th Chaitra for the installation of a scoreboard and on 11th Chaitra for the installation of floodlights. This time, a period of 21 days has been allotted for the tender process, as informed by NSC sources.
National Sports Council estimated a cost of 82 crore 61 lakh rupees for floodlights and 7 crore 20 lakh rupees for the scoreboard.
