Last week, a traffic police officer in Koteshwar, who sustained injuries in a bus collision, passed away on Sunday while receiving treatment. Senior Superintendent of Police Jeevan Kumar Shrestha, the information officer of the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, confirmed that Sub Inspector Top Bahadur Khatri succumbed to his injuries during treatment at Annapurna Neuro Hospital in Thapathali.
The bus driver, Nawaraj Giri, is currently in police custody, and an ongoing investigation is being conducted to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident.
