Thirteen Nepali nationals who were stranded in Thailand were successfully rescued and repatriated to Nepal on Friday.
In a statement released by the Embassy of Nepal in Bangkok, it was confirmed that these 13 Nepali citizens, who had been facing difficulties for an extended period, were stranded near the Thailand-Myanmar border in Myawaddi, Myanmar.
The statement further mentioned that they were airlifted to Nepal aboard a Nepal Airlines flight on Friday, marking their safe return home.
