Today, the US Ambassador to Nepal, Dean R. Thompson, met with the recently appointed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Narayan Kaji Shrestha. The meeting, held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, encompassed discussions on a range of bilateral issues, as conveyed by Ministry Spokesperson Amrit Bahadur Rai.
The talks centered on ensuring the timely completion of development projects in Nepal that are being undertaken with assistance from the United States. During the meeting, the US Ambassador extended congratulations to Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha and conveyed his best wishes.
