According to a source within Russia’s Investigative Committee speaking to TASS, more than 60 individuals lost their lives in a terrorist assault at the Crocus City Hall music venue located in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Region.
“It has been preliminarily ascertained that the terrorist assault resulted in the deaths of over 60 individuals. Regrettably, the casualty count may increase,” the source disclosed.
The investigative efforts involving personnel from the Russian Investigative Committee, along with law enforcement units from the Internal Affairs Ministry and the Federal Security Service, are actively underway at the scene, as stated by the source.
On Friday evening, a terrorist assault unfolded at the Crocus City Hall music venue situated in Krasnogorsk, near Moscow. Unidentified assailants, armed with assault rifles, initiated a shooting rampage, followed by an explosion that triggered a fire within the premises.
