TRISHULI- A taxi met with a fatal accident, plunging into the Trishuli River and claiming the lives of five individuals, including two men, two women, and a baby girl this morning.
The District Police Office in Chitwan has reported that the identities of the deceased have yet to be confirmed.
This heartbreaking incident unfolded around 7:15 AM near the Simaldhara area of Ichchha Kamana Rural Municipality-5, situated along the Prithvi Highway.
Preliminary reports indicate that the taxi, identified by its registration number Ba 2 Ja 4196, was en route from Kathmandu to Gorkha when it tragically veered off the road, plummeting approximately 80 meters into the river.
