Nepali Citizen died due to Drowns, and Another Missing in Portugal Sea

Two Dead due to Drowning in Dudhkoshi River, Bhojpur

Portugal– A Nepali citizen tragically drowned, and another is missing in the waters near Montijo, close to Lisbon, Portugal. The incident occurred on the night of April 6.

The deceased has been identified as Dhana Bahadur Tamang, aged 30, hailing from Katunje, Netrawati Dabajong Rural Municipality-5, Dhading district, Nepal. The missing individual is Tek Bahadur Tamang, aged 38, also from the same locality.

According to Gopal Yonjan, President of the Tamang Society Portugal, the incident transpired while the Tamang duo was engaged in seafood hunting in the sea at Montijo. Dhana Bahadur’s body was recovered by a rescue team on Sunday, while Tek Bahadur remains missing.
