A man died after being hit by a tipper in Dang

Dang: In a devastating incident, a cyclist lost his life after a collision involving a tipper truck in Dang. The victim, identified as 45-year-old Kali Prasad Chaudhary hailing from Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City-17 Bhaisahi, succumbed to his injuries following the accident.

According to authorities from the District Police Office in Dang, DSP Janak Bahadur Malla reported that the fatal collision occurred near Sisne Khola along the Lamhi-Ghorahi road section, within Ghorahi sub-metropolitan city-17. The incident took place at approximately 8:30 pm on Friday night.

Details provided by the police revealed that Chaudhary sustained severe injuries as an unmarked tipper collided with his bicycle. Despite being rushed for medical treatment at the Rapti Health Science Institute in Ghorahi, the victim could not be saved and was declared dead.

The tragedy has cast a pall of sadness over the local community, prompting concerns regarding road safety measures in the area. Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the accident are currently underway by the authorities.
