BIRATNAGAR- The departmental team APF has reached the semi-finals of the Birat Gold Cup.
In a well-contested match held at the Sahid Rangashala in Biratnagar, APF defeated Chyasal Youth Club 2-0 to secure a spot in the semi-finals.
In APF’s victory, Pradeep Lama and Anish Maharjan each scored one goal.
Today, Machhindra Football Club and Southern Samity Football Club from Kolkata, India, will play the final quarter-final match.
The winner of the Gold Cup will receive a prize of 1.1 million, while the runner-up will receive a prize of 500,000.”
