The Enforcement Directorate (ED) team has arrested Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
The ED team under the Union Finance Ministry and Revenue Department reached the Chief Minister’s house on Thursday. According to the Indian media, he was arrested after a two-hour interrogation.
Delhi government minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Atishi said Kejriwal’s arrest was a political conspiracy by the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She said, if Prime Minister Modi is afraid of any leader, it is Arvind Kejriwal.
ED had been investigating Kejriwal regarding Delhi’s liquor policy.
