Kathmandu, Nepal– A confrontation erupted between supporters of the Rastriya Mukti Andolan, under the leadership of Rajendra Mahato, and law enforcement in Kathmandu.
In response to the Rastriya Mukti Andolan’s special program announcement, Rajendra Mahato led a demonstration in the Bhadrakali area.
As the rally progressed towards the restricted zone near Singha Durbar, the police intervened, attempting to halt its advancement.
This led to a clash between the two groups.
During the altercation, two police officers and three demonstrators sustained injuries.
According to reports, law enforcement has detained several demonstrators.
