A fatal accident occurred near Bhangbari in Dang district when a passenger-carrying jeep failed to climb a slope, resulting in the death of one individual. The incident involved a jeep bearing registration number Lu 1 Ja 1427, en route from Gangate to Tulsipur, passing through Babai Rural Municipality-1. Six people sustained injuries in the mishap.
Jit Bahadur Budha, aged 45 and hailing from Babai Rural Municipality-1, succumbed to injuries during treatment at Rapti Provincial Hospital, Tulsipur, as confirmed by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Janak Bahadur Malla, the spokesperson for District Police Dang.
