Sankhuwasabha, Nepal– A son’s assault resulted in the death of his father In Sankhuwasabha. The incident occurred in Ward No. 2 of Gairigaun Municipality, Sankhuwasabha, where the father succumbed to injuries inflicted by his son’s assault.
On Monday evening at around 6:30 pm, a heated argument over domestic matters between 50-year-old Yuvaraj Rai and his 28-year-old son Suman Rai escalated.
Suman Rai physically assaulted Yuvaraj Rai, causing serious injuries to various parts of his body, including head injuries from being hit with stones. Yuvaraj Rai, with severe injuries, was rushed to the district hospital in Khandbari for treatment.
However, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment. The District Police Office, Sankhuwasabha, informed about the demise during his treatment at the district hospital. Further investigation into the incident, including bringing Suman Rai under control, is underway, as informed by the police.
