LALITPUR- A devastating fire ravaged a metal industry in Hattiban, Lalitpur today, tragically claiming the life of one individual.
SP Nareshraj Subedi of the Lalitpur Police Office confirmed that the identity of the deceased is yet to be determined.
The incident unfolded around 6 am at Sikma Metal Intex Pvt Ltd. While the exact cause of the fire remains uncertain, authorities suspect an electrical malfunction as the possible trigger.
The blaze wrought extensive damage upon the industry’s physical infrastructure, reducing it to rubble. However, prompt action by firefighters succeeded in quelling the flames. Detailed assessments regarding the extent of the damage are still underway.
