A person who was injured in a bus accident on the Hetauda-Pathalaiya road section along the East-West Highway on Tuesday has sadly passed away during treatment.
The incident took place in Jitpursimra sub-metropolitan city-22 of Bara on Tuesday, where a bus en route from Dhangadhi to Biratnagar veered off the road and plunged into the river near the bridge.
According to information from the Simara area police office, the identity of the deceased is still pending confirmation.
The police report indicates that among the 27 individuals injured in the accident, four are in critical condition.
Superintendent of Police Laxmi Bhandari mentioned that the injured are currently receiving medical treatment at Hetauda Hospital.
