Nepal vs Netherlands in final

Nepal has set a target of 185 runs to win the Triangular T20 International Series against the Netherlands.

After winning the toss and choosing to bat at TU Cricket Ground, Kirtipur, Nepal lost 8 wickets in 20 overs and managed to score 184 runs. Despite a good performance from Nepal’s top-order batsmen, the Dutch bowler Sompal Kami proved to be relentless. His performance prevented Nepal from posting a larger score.

Opening batsman Kushal Bhurtel was dismissed for 23 runs in 3.3 overs. Captain Rohit Paudel, coming in next, scored 25 runs off 19 balls before getting out. Rohit shared a partnership of 59 runs for the third wicket with Asif Sheikh.

Following their dismissals, Gulshan Jha and Asif took charge of Nepal’s innings. Asif fell short of a half-century, scoring 26 runs off 37 balls with 1 four and 3 sixes. Gulshan Jha contributed with a quick 26 runs, hitting 3 sixes in just 11 balls.

Coming in at number five, Deependra Singh Airee could only manage 1 run. Karan KC scored 9 runs, while Aarif Sheikh couldn’t open his account.

For the Netherlands, Fred Klaassen, Timm van der Gugten, Saqib Zulfiqar, and Michael Leask took 2 wickets each.
