The Foreign Employment Department‘s accountant, Pramod Niroula, is being investigated for misuse of authority.
He was arrested with a bribe of 15,000 rupees and has been charged with corruption in a special court on Monday. The spokesperson for the authorities, Narhari Ghimire, provided information that charges have been filed against him under Section 3 (1) (k) of the Corruption Prevention Act, 2059, demanding imprisonment and fines.
