Famed singer Rajesh Payal Rai has been released from custody after being apprehended in Kathmandu late last night. Officials revealed that Rai, accompanied by two others, was detained for causing disturbances and consuming alcohol.
The detention took place near Madan Bhandari College in Kathmandu, triggered by complaints from locals about noise and disturbances.
Following his release, Rai reportedly pledged to refrain from such behavior in the future, as communicated by law enforcement authorities.
