Renu Dahal, the Mayor of Bharatpur Metropolitan City, has been honored with the prestigious International Mayor Award in the United Kingdom. The recognition was bestowed upon Mayor Dahal during a ceremony held at the House of Commons, the federal parliament building of the UK.
Alongside Mayor Dahal’s commendation, Mayor Sadik Khan of London was also recognized with the Local Government Award, and Ameenah Fakim, the first female president of Mauritius, was honored with the esteemed International Woman of the Year Award.
