Gold Smuggling: Two individuals have been arrested on suspicion of smuggling gold from Rasuwa’s Kerung border point to Kathmandu. According to the Metropolitan Police Crime Division, 26-year-old Sudip B.K and 39-year-old Sonam Dorje Lama were arrested in connection with the smuggling.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police Crime Division informed that 128.7 grams of gold was seized from them.
The police have informed that both individuals have been sent to the Tribhuvan International Airport office for necessary investigation.
