LAMJUNG- The District Police Office in Lamjung has apprehended a youth suspected of attempting to rape a 12-year-old girl. The apprehended individual is Amrit Bahadur Adhikari, aged 32, residing in Ward No. 8 of Rainas Municipality.
According to the police, the youth had attempted to rape a girl who was alone on the road at 8 a.m. on Monday, March 12th.
Based on the complaint filed on Wednesday, the Information Officer of the District Police Office, Inspector Thaneshwor Chapai, provided information to the authorities.
Inspector Chapai informed that an investigation has been initiated by the District Court against the officer, and an extension of seven days has been granted for further investigation.
