HOR: The House of Representatives session has been delayed because of obstruction from the primary opposition party, the Nepali Congress.
The Nepali Congress has insisted on the resignation of Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane.
During Friday’s gathering, NC legislators argued that Home Minister Lamichhane, allegedly involved in a cooperative fraud case, should step down for ethical reasons.
Speaker Devraj Ghimire adjourned the meeting for 15 minutes following the NC’s obstruction.
