A fire swept through Krishna Ladies and Gents Tailors located in Saptari district, resulting in the destruction of property estimated at Rs 3 million. Situated on Rupani Road in Rajbiraj, the tailor shop succumbed to the flames.
According to proprietor Rohit Kumar Sah, the inferno consumed 19 sewing machines, four electric machines, and garments belonging to customers.
The cause of the fire remains undisclosed. Prompt response from local residents, aided by police and fire engines dispatched from Rajbiraj, managed to contain the blaze.
An investigation into the incident is currently underway, as confirmed by the District Police Office.
