KATHMANDU- The Aam Janata Party (AJP), led by Prabhu Sah, is poised to hold a public demonstration today in Kathmandu, advocating against the prevailing party system and widespread corruption. Following the demonstration, Prabhu Sah, the president of AJP and former minister, will deliver a significant address at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu.
Chandra Bhushan Sah, the Deputy General Secretary of AJP, has emphasized the importance of this demonstration, pointing to the escalating corruption, irregularities, and theft within the nation. He argues that without addressing these pervasive issues, genuine development will remain elusive, attributing the country’s weakened economic state to systemic corruption.
Ravindra Singh, a member of the AJP Standing Committee, has elucidated the objectives behind the public demonstration. These objectives include issuing a warning to those entrenched in the party system, championing the concerns of the people’s movement, demanding accountability from leaders responsible for the nation’s decline, safeguarding the country from economic peril, and exerting pressure on those involved in scandals.
