KATHMANDU- Today, the House of Representatives (HoR) is convening at 11 am in the Federal Parliament Building located in New Baneswor. The session will commence with the Speaker’s opening remarks, during which announcements will be made regarding communications from the Office of the President and the Prime Minister, as well as directives from the Council of Ministers concerning upcoming tasks.

On the agenda for today’s discussions is a proposal by Minister of Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation, Shakti Bahadur Basnet, regarding a comprehensive dialogue on agreements relevant to the establishment of the International Solar Alliance (ISA).

Finance Minister Barsaman Pun will lead deliberations on a proposal seeking authorization for the introduction of the Banks and Financial Institutions (First Amendment) Bill 2080, a significant step in legislative matters.

Similarly, Federal Affairs and General Administration Minister Bhanubhakta Joshi will guide discussions on advancing the Construction Materials (Management and Regulation) Bill 2080 to the relevant committee for detailed quarterly examination.
