KIRTIPUR– The Ireland Wolves set a target of 285 runs for the Nepal ‘A’ cricket team in the third one-day match held at Tribhuvan Maidan in Kirtipur after winning the toss and opting to bat first. Ireland lost 9 wickets to make 284 runs.
For Ireland, opener Stephen Doheny struck a century, scoring 107 runs off 129 balls with 8 fours and 2 sixes. Similarly, Peter Moor contributed 44 runs. In the bowling department, Nepal’s Rit Gautam took 3 wickets, conceding 75 runs in 10 overs, while Ranjit Kumar also managed to take 3 wickets, giving away 51 runs in his 10 overs.
With this defeat in both previous one-day matches, Nepal has lost the series.
