VAPI– In the final of the SMS Friendship Cup T-20 cricket, Nepal set a target of 177 runs for Gujarat.
Winning the toss and opting to bat, Nepal lost 4 wickets in 20 overs, scoring 176 runs. Captain Rohit Paudel top-scored for Nepal with 74 runs. Similarly, Asif Sheikh scored 34 runs, and Kushal Malla contributed with 31 runs off 13 balls.
Kushal Bhurtel scored 19 runs, while Dipendra Singh Airee added 7 runs. On the bowling side, Jaymit Patel, Shem Patel, Tejas Patel, and Jala Yuvrajsinh took one wicket each for Gujarat.
In the league stage, Nepal remained at the top position and has now reached the final.
