KATHMANDU, NEPAL-The Miss Nepal 2024 application window is officially open, as announced by Hidden Treasure, the organizer of the renowned beauty pageant, during a press conference in Kathmandu on Wednesday. Prospective contestants have until May 14 to submit their applications for the 30th edition of Miss Nepal 2024.
The grand finale of Miss Nepal 2024 is scheduled to take place at the Sunrise Convention Centre in Godawari, Lalitpur, on August 3. This year’s pageant will see the crowning of three main winners: Miss Nepal World, Miss Nepal Earth, and Miss Nepal International.
In addition to these titles, contestants will vie for 12 other awards, including Miss Popular Choice, Miss Fitness Queen, Miss Healthy Skin, Miss Intellectual, Miss Glamour, Miss Confident, and Miss Photogenic.
The Miss Nepal competition is expanding its reach by scouting for participants in various cities, such as Birtamod, Itahari, Birgunj, Chitwan, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj, Pokhara, Surkhet, and Kathmandu.
Unmarried Nepali girls between the ages of 18 and 27, standing at a minimum height of 5 feet 3 inches, are eligible to apply for Miss Nepal 2024.
During the press conference, former contestants shared their global pageant experiences. Prasiddhy Shah, who participated in Miss Nepal International 2023, Raina Majgaiya, a contender in Miss Nepal Earth 2023, and Priyanka Rani Joshi, a participant in Miss World 2023, recounted their journeys on the international stage.
Priyanka Rani Joshi notably achieved recognition by securing a position in the top 40 at the Miss World competition held in India this year. Furthermore, she was honored with the ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ title from the Asia and Oceania region.
