Krystyna Pyszková from the Czech Republic emerged victorious as Miss World 2024, marking the pageant’s return to India after a 28-year hiatus. The glamorous grand finale unfolded at Mumbai’s Jio World Convention Centre.
India’s representative, Sini Shetty, who clinched the Femina Miss India 2022 title, showcased a strong performance, reaching the top eight among 112 global contestants but ultimately bowing out of the competition.
In the intense final round, the last standing contestants – Pyszková, Yasmin Azaytoun (Lebanon), Aché Abrahams (Trinidad & Tobago), and Lesego Chombo (Botswana) – faced a unique challenge: presenting their ideas to a panel of Shark Tank judges. Pyszková’s compelling presentation ultimately secured her the prestigious Miss World title.
