Miss World 2024: The 71st Miss World finale, according to Nepali time, it will take place today from 7:45 PM onwards in Mumbai, India. A total of 115 beauties from various countries, including Nepal, will compete for the title.
The finale, to be held at Mumbai’s Jio Convention Center, will see the participation of Priyanka Rani Joshi from Nepal. Having entered the top 40 as the winner of the ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ category in the Asian region, Priyanka’s strong presence in the ‘Head to Head Challenge’ and ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ categories makes Nepal a strong contender. The event will be hosted by Bollywood film producer Karan Johar and former Miss World Megan Young.
San Mukherjee, Neha Kakkar, Tony Kakkar, and Tony N Singhal will be presenting at the finale. The competition will start with the selection of 40 candidates, followed by the identification of 12 semi-finalists. Subsequently, the top 8 will be announced, and finally, the best 4 will be declared winners from each continent. The list includes the first runner-up and the winner from the top four.
In an interview with an online news portal, Priyanka expressed her optimism and confidence, feeling proud to represent the country. She emphasized her efforts to contribute to the country’s best days.
