Nepali popular singer Rajesh Payal Rai and his partner Sangbung Rai have officially concluded their legal separation. This confirmation stems from a communication by the court’s information officer, verifying that the divorce was approved by the Kathmandu District Court on March 28th.
The ruling was delivered by Judge Padmaraj Pandey, overseeing a solitary bench. Rai instigated the divorce proceedings, yet the specifics of the settlement remain undisclosed by the court.
The pair have a two-year-old son named Sayrem, and their marital union was formally registered in October 2021.
